Senior Consultant reporting to the Head of Commercial is required for an expanding and well known Exeter business.  

Applicants should have experience of consultative selling in a B2B environment, preferably marketing or technology coupled with an excellent understanding of marketing principles, practices & technologies.

You will have the ability to make cold calls to prospective clients and a proven ability to negotiate complex deals with senior decision makers.  With your experience of selling solutions, preferably data or digital you will be able to effectively manage client & prospect meetings to identify new sales opportunities.

Applicants should have focus and drive to self motivate and manage own sales activity, combined with excellent communication skills both written and verbal and good time management skills and attention to detail.

You will generate sales to achieve maximum profitability against annual sales targets and will manage client & prospect meetings to identify new sales opportunities.  You will be confident in taking the lead on client pitch or tender proposals, collaborating with project managers and across different teams to progress a sale.

From an administration point of view you will be able to maintain accurate records of all sales activity and prepare regular forecasts to enable effective forward planning.
