Export Account Manager

Has been created for someone with a background in Export Sales/Account Management (ideally 3-4 years) to join its International Accounts team. This role provides a great opportunity for someone with a management career in mind as overtime you will be able to move into a more supervisory role, ultimately helping the business to develop its internal teams by sharing your knowledge and expertise, thus driving the business further forward through a joint effort.

Working alongside the International Sales Manager you will have a specific focus on exports, account management and business development. You will maintain and further strengthen working relationships with existing channel partners whilst demonstrating a natural aptitude for identifying and developing new partnerships with distributors around the globe. A hands-on approach to your account management is key as you will eventually provide supervisory support to more junior colleagues enabling them to grow their markets and to secure new business.

THE CANDIDATE BRIEF
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a shipping or export office and have a good understanding of the complexities of managing the sale of products or services to customers in other countries. You will therefore be familiar with the need to comply with, legal and ethical restrictions on international trading.
Ideally from a high-volume sales environment you will be someone naturally concerned and driven by delivering the highest standards of customer service. And, as an experienced international operator you will also have a proven track record of cultivating multiple accounts by adapting your approach to relationship building according to local and cultural standards.
This is a people centric business both internally and externally, so you will be assessed on you career to date, as well as your ability to engage in a highly collaborative manner with all stakeholders. A 2nd language would help, but again is not a deal-breaker
The company operates within the global market so you will be required to travel overseas with colleagues to meet distributors and clinicians. Primarily EMEA and emerging markets.
