Team leader for up to 3 Commercial Executives.
A global FMCG brand who pride themselves on sustainability. They have after a wide variety of household brands across Home Care, Personal Care, Refreshments and Food. This role sits within their food category. Their office is based in Leatherhead. The Senior Commercial Executive will report into the Head of Customer Operations who has been with the business for almost 30 years so they are an incredible person to learn from with a wealth knowledge.
This vacancy has arisen due to career development. Several Commercial Executives have recently been appointed as Customer Account Executives
The responsibilities of the Senior Commercial Executive will include:
- Promotional Support - updating the plan, translating the plan into numbers, monitoring the plan versus actuals
- Creating and tracking Provisions and Accruals
- Joint Business Planning Tracking
- Processing invoices
- Price accuracy
- Customer administration
- Team leadership - Monitoring team delivery and taking corrective action when required
The successful Senior Commercial Executive will have a high level of educational +/or professional qualifications plus a proven track record in an FMCG sales environment.
Evidence of team leadership is desirable.
Applicants must have strong Excel skills with the ability to produce and use VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables (an assessment will be held using Excel).
You must possess good attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage workload, delivering to a deadline with accuracy.
Strong communication and analytical skills are required along with an ability to build and maintain good, immediate and cross-functional working relationships.
