Description

The Senior Business Development Manager - Software candidate will win new logo accounts, attract new customers, penetrate new and existing markets, and increase the business' revenue. You will have an autonomous role with ample trust, be client facing, work closely with a very strong marketing department, and help to leverage the business' existing relationships. Key role responsibilies will follow:

  • "Solution sell" products and services into new clients
  • Generate revenue through face to face meetings, telephone conversations and online product demos
  • Work collaboratively with management and marketing to put together pitch documents and RFPs for tender
  • Looks for opportunities for new product development through understanding customer requirements and keeping up to date with new regulatory developments
  • Develop a business plan which demonstrates a clear pathway with quantifiable activities that will enable satisfaction of personal targets

  • Consistently deliver on budget result

  • Work to expected conversion ratios and updates weekly
  • Ensure a smooth transition of the client's account to the Account Manager at the conclusion of the sale

Profile

The background of the Senior Business Development Manager - Software will ideally follow:

  • Minimum +4 years experience in solution client facing sales, ideally within associated industries (financial services, software, business intelligence, professional/business services)
  • If you have an understanding of regulatory services, and tax/accounting services, this would be advantageous
  • Proven track record of winning new-logo customers via consultative selling; lead generation, aiding in marketing campaigns, delivering presentations, and 'closing' C-Level decision makers
  • Strong articulate communication skills, dynamic in nature, hungry and energetic, motivated to succeed and eclipse targets
  • The role comes with clear progression opportunities as the business continues to grow, so this would suit an ambitious candidate seeking to move into more senior business development / strategic roles, and/or leadership, later in their careers
