Description

Senior Business Development Executive - Training & Consulting

Purpose of the role

To be a core contributor of the London new business sales team by consistently winning repeatable revenue deals (£20,000 and above) through proactive outbound sales activity.

Core responsibilities

  • Respond quickly and effectively to move leads through the sales pipeline using salesforce CRM
  • Generate meetings through proactive outbound calling targeting senior HR/ talent/L&D decision-makers. Organisations with 10,000+ employees across retail, finance, technology and pharmaceutical industries will be a focus.
  • Proactive networking with senior HR/ talent/L&D decision-makers
  • Work to ensure the marketing plan is effectively implemented to deliver campaigns, raise awareness of our brand and generate sales leads
  • Work collaboratively with the consulting team to attend client meetings and generate winning proposals based on their requirements
  • Working with the Head of Business Development, the directors and the finance team to generate accurate sales forecasts
  • Ensuring the Salesforce contact d/base is kept up to date and timely and accurate reports are supplied to the team to monitor progress and improve performance
  • Working closely with the Business Development team to implement effective use of Salesforce (CRM system) to monitor and report sales performance

Profile

Senior Business Development Executive - Training & Consulting

Person specification

  • A proven track record of 3-5 years in new business winning in B2B sales ideally selling to HR/L&D populations
  • Be genuinely interested in performance psychology and is energised by being a core part of a small but ambitious company
  • Results-focused salesperson who is energised by achieving exceptional results
  • Naturally curious and enjoys challenging current ways of thinking in a positive and constructive way
  • Has the ability and desire to follow and contribute to the improvement of sales processes
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and intuitively leaning on resources around them to deliver results
  • Enjoys the challenge of a complex, collaborative sale
  • Ideally have good capabilities and experience using Salesforce

Job Offer

A basic salary of £35,000, plus -
