Senior Account Liaison - Asset Management

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Senior Account Liaison works in conjunction with the relationship management teams to retain and grow client and prospect relationships. The position works independently and has regular direct interaction with operational decision-makers and other key contacts at client firms.

The position operates independently to carry out various responsibilities supporting client accounts in European mutual fund vehicles, platforms and data vendors through both direct relationships and via those of the Relationship Management team. Partnering with the Luxembourg Product Management team, Operations, multiple other internal departments the Account Liaison will drive issue resolution and escalate any operational/administrative concerns.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Point of contact for new and existing European mutual fund clients and prospects for operational, legal and general account queries. Acts as interface between sales professionals and operational areas.
  • Able to tailor communication to the client &/internal audience accordingly.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of existing clients and how they use our products, to provide relevant internal and external support on both a reactive and proactive basis to the growing client base.
  • Co-ordinate new client onboarding and operational/legal change management for existing clients.
  • Possesses excellent knowledge of internal processes and procedures for account opening, investment onboarding, legal agreements and how to establish all necessary operational requirements.
  • Lead an efficient and effective onboarding process for new clients of the European investment fund range.
  • Use excellent judgement in involving relationship managers or in escalating issues accordingly.
  • Facilitates problem resolution for both clients and internal departments in relation to client-related issues.
  • Partners with any relevant internal departments to facilitate and advocate internally on behalf of the client regarding operational/administrative issues.
  • Uses excellent judgement in involving relationship manager, Luxembourg Product Management team and/or team lead manager in any issues that arise.
  • Ensures excellent client communication to resolution.
  • Have a good working knowledge of vendor services
  • Manage allocated vendor relationships where a 1:1 relationship is required, supporting payment and data delivery obligations.
  • Co-ordinate with other internal vendor managers to ensure current client service and data requirements are met.
  • Work on and/or lead various projects as assigned.
  • Identify areas for improving process, customer service, emerging customer needs and operational efficiency.
  • Highlight and escalate identified improvement areas as required.
  • Able to assimilate all information from client/role and apply to analysis so as to propose solutions.

Profile

Required:

  • Carries out duties independently and at a consistently high level, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Possesses a high level of technical knowledge in relation to client and TRP operational, legal and other client-related activities.
  • Is well versed in policies related to various TRP investment vehicles offered today and in the future in Europe (i.e. UK OEIC, SICAV, SICAV Part II, & FCP).
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, judgement and leadership skills
  • Demonstrates ability to outline procedures/processes and analyse them objectively.
  • Excellent client service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated

Work toward/interest in obtaining relevant industry qualifications
