In Europe we are focused on 6 key business platforms; we specialise in Water Treatment, Waste Water, Parts Cleaning, Lubricants & Fuel Additives, Tools & Fasteners and Maintenance providing solutions to customers across the hospitality, industrial and infrastructure sectors.

POSITION

NCH Europe has new opportunities for Sales Representatives to join our Industrial Maintenance & Consumables division, further develop the existing customer base and generate new business. Due to business growth, there are two vacancies for Sales Representatives (Maintenance) and one vacancy for a Sales Representative (Water).

OVERVIEW

The Sales Representatives will be responsible for developing the existing customer base as well as generating new business in the region. They will need a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and the ability to create long lasting customer relationships. We are looking for candidates with the ambition, drive and potential to become our organisation's next leading Sales Representatives.

Birmingham

RESPONSIBILITIES

*Self-generate sales leads by networking, referrals, warm and cold calling.
*Build strong relationships with potential and existing customers from the initial call gaining their trust and respect.
*Identify and progress re-sale opportunities for customers that have had NCH products/ services.
*Account management - maintain relationship with customers post sale to ensure customer satisfaction.
*Maintain knowledge of products and services as well as industry developments
*Communicate technical product points clearly to 'non-technical' customers, using appropriate presentation and guidance materials for audience.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE

*Previous experience in selling is desirable although not a requirement as our comprehensive training policy will cover all aspects of sales and product knowledge.

SKILLS

*Ability to drive growth in a geographical region/ product area.
*Networking skills, demonstrating a clear ability to build new contacts and create long lasting customer relationships
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with all levels of management/non-management both internally to NCH Europe and externally.
*Excellent customer orientation - polite, responsive and persistent.
*Excellent time management and planning skills
*Demonstrated aptitude for creative problem solving
*Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite applications, iPad and 'apps', CRM software and sales order management systems/ documents.
*Must possess a current full driving licence.
