Epson is looking for a driven and proactive Sales Manager, MPS Solutions who will report into the Head of Business Sales. You will be responsible for influencing and managing the sale and lifecycle of Managed Print Solutions (MPS) deals to develop and grow the size, scope and profitability of the Epson MPS business within the MPS reseller team and broader sales teams.

Delivering business growth in scan products by:

  • Consolidating and building on the existing customer base and expanding product adoption within that base
  • Identifying new customers within key verticals, markets and framework opportunities
  • Creating GTM plans and developing value propositions to support the above

Key Responsibilities:


  • Create and implement go to market strategies designed to achieve the business plan as a minimum
  • Support and guide the MPS team with educating channel partners in the EPSON technology and potential solutions
  • Provide input into bid proposals, projects and technical documents e.g. software integration, OPEX vs CAPEX, click charge, monthly fee, leasing, roll out, advanced services, maintenance
  • Educate and train the local Reseller and Corporate sales teams on all activities associated with MPS including value proposition, financing, technology (hardware and software)
  • Develop current customer relationships to achieve the maximum potential revenue from the Epson portfolio, delivering breadth and depth within these accounts
  • Develop and execute campaigns and tactical plans to support the business sales strategy and communicate the progress both internally and externally
  • Work closely with Channel Sales Managers to develop the best Channel strategies to maximise revenues and support the end user Go To Market plans
  • Plan and execute quarterly business review meetings with key customers
  • Provide comprehensive market feedback and guidance to Head of Business Sales, Head of Corporate Sales EMEA and Business Management


  • Ensure a comprehensive and measureable marketing plan by vertical is developed in conjunction with the Corporate Marketing Manager
  • Ensure ongoing lead generation/nurturing activity is scheduled with the local and European tele-marketing teams and that a 360 degree process is in place to measure efficiency
  • Assist and provide input into broader Epson UK marketing plans


  • To provide sales and forecasting information to enable the achievement of business goals
  • Contribute to forecasting, major account reviews and account development planning in order to report progress and achieve business goals
  • To provide and present information at relevant review meetings detailing business performance and ensure account managers and teams contribute effectively
  • To ensure efficient management of costs including headcount, expenses, salaries etc


  • Recruit, develop and manage a team resourced to deliver the sales strategy and required revenue results
  • Coach, motivate and appraise all direct reports to ensure that the team is managed effectively
  • Ensure the Epson High Performance culture and tools are fully embedded in the sales team to ensure maximum sales effectiveness

Skills and Experience:

  • Senior sales background preferably within a related discipline and or industry
  • Experience of or acceptance of a matrix organisation and use of centrally resourced functions
  • Knowledge of the local market
  • A track record of sales results demonstrating customer portfolio growth
  • Good record of academic achievement
