This company is a specialist in playground design and the supply of high quality play equipment. They are looking to recruit a field-based Area Manager to cover the Midlands area of England and Wales. They require an individual who is articulate, an effective communicator and with an outgoing personality. You will be able to conduct negotiations at all levels with local authorities, landscape architects, house builders and private sector organisations. Previous industry experience would be an advantage but training will be given to the successful candidate. Full driving licence is required.
Your role will require you to visit prospective clients to discuss new business, undertake site surveys and prepare written briefs for their design team. An ability to prioritise and organise your work activities is essential. You will ensure that their sales database is maintained and that all activities are logged and recorded. Working to a sales target, you will attend review meetings to provide updates on current and forecasted business. Most importantly, you will ensure their customers receive the highest levels of service and attention throughout all stages of the sales cycle.
