This long standing British manufacturer of optical consumables produce bespoke products for specific NHS and specialised retail channels.
Following acquisition and major investment from a multinational player in the industry, they are now looking to launch a range of innovative new ranges into the mainstream optical retail market.
As a result they are recruiting an aspiring Sales Manager to help them drive these new products to market. This will be an evolving opportunity with the scope of the role growing to encompass recruitment and management of a sales team. The company are established and extremely well financed, but this is an opportunity to be involved from the outset in the next stage of the organisations development.
You will come from a consumables sales environment and be experienced in low unit value, high volume sales environments. Optical experience is not required but exposure to retail sales with a clinically associated product would be a distinct advantage, as would experience of new ventures or new product launches within the sales channel.
When not client facing there will be a significant amount of time spent working at the companies head office in Bedfordshire. Consequently candidates will need to reside within around one hour commute.
