The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new revenue through additional media spend via POS, online and outdoor opportunities. This is a unique opportunity for business development professionals both within and outside of FMCG, to play a key role in developing relationships with both new and existing clients, with a supportive, well-established internal framework.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established Food and Drink Wholesale and Distribution business, with a number of UK locations. The business is looking to hire into it's Cardiff branch.

Description

The Sales Manager will:

  • Identify, develop and secure new revenue streams across POS, online and outdoor opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with trading teams and the supplier base to facilitate an effective and efficient process of securing and executing advertising opportunities
  • Work to an agreed process to assist in delivering projects on time, on target and on brief with a specific focus of reaching targets for advertising
  • See campaigns through from initial supplier pitch through to completion of brief and analysis
  • Nurture strong relationships with suppliers at national account, shopper marketing and marketing levels
  • Ensure that advertising reaches the required targets, is aligned to the clear guidelines set and to be proactive in seeking new opportunities that are relevant, appropriate and 'on brand'

Profile

The Sales Manager will:

  • Have a proven, consultative business development and account management track record
  • Be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills
  • Be a strong influencer, negotiator and communicator
  • Be highly commercial
  • Be a team player
  • Be able to work under pressure, and manage time effectively
  • Be based in reasonable, daily commuting distance of Cardiff
