Description

Sales Manager

Key responsibilities and activities include:

  • Attract new portfolio clients, leading contractual negotiations, implementation, development, performance and retention of portfolio clients
  • Identify potential partners and develop pipeline of new clients
  • Manage key strategic clients, working in a consultative manner to retain and grow the account and create loyalty
  • Manage a team of junior sales people, ensure high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maximise revenue opportunities by building a deep client relationship and by being accountable for creating and delivering strategic and tactical account plan initiatives
  • Cooperate with internal project teams to optimise the sales process from first customer contact and working closely with Operations and Client Services teams to assure service levels and deliver service solutions

Profile

Sales Manager

The successful candidate will need to be goal oriented, able to work independently and to demonstrate a high level of energy and enthusiasm. They must demonstrate:

  • Proven sales success in the Payments industry (ESSENTIAL)
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape, business environment and industry dynamics
  • Strong sales/account management background with audible track record in the industry
  • Be able to communicate clearly (both verbally and in writing) and build and maintain trusted and collaborative relationships with people at all levels across an organisation
  • Ability to sell complex solutions to senior executives across mid to large-size organisations and managing large customer accounts and partnerships
