This company is a market leading mapping business and they take pride in creating fresh and innovative map related products. They have created and continue to develop a wide range of products from fun interactive children's products through to high end artwork and home décor.
They have a 50 year history, a strong and growing brand name and we are showing consistent revenue growth in these areas.
They are now looking to recruit an energetic sales person to support their ambitions for further growth. They are looking for someone to increase product sales within a variety of market sectors including general retail, education, gifting and online retailers.
The main part of the role will be sales development rather than account management, you will be required to plan and then develop new business by targeting potential customers such as retail chains or distribution channels. You will also inherit a range of existing clients, some well established and some relatively new, who you will be expected to grow.
Alongside sales and account management, you will also be expected to contribute to the product development process, by relaying back customer suggestions and feedback to the product development team.
Experience of developing new business and account management in non-food consumer goods is preferable, but not essential. You should be able to manage your own time and be enthusiastic about developing new business in a small and dynamic company.
For this they are offering £24 - £28k basic salary dependent on experience, OTE in year 1 is £28k - £34k. In future years, once the client base has been grown, this role offers great earnings potential due to the generous bonus scheme.
This is a full time and permanent role. This position is based in Long Hanborough, near Witney (on the train line from Oxford.) Working hours are 8.30 to 5.00 with 20 days holiday initially, rising with service time. They offer a Workplace Pension Scheme.
