Sales Engineer - Electronic Components - £22-25K + £5k + Car

The Role: With a bias towards new business, the successful Sales Engineer will be selling into OEMs in the industrial, audio, automotive, renewables, rail, consumer electronics and aerospace sectors. You will be selling at design engineer and buyer levels with some time also spent with end users, delivering their products a repair products. Full product training will be provided and realistic opportunities to move into a full Area Sales Manager role exist once growth has been achieved.

The Company: Established over half a century ago and now looking for aggressive growth linked to new product development, our client is recruiting a new Sales Engineer in the North of England to help achieve this. They sell electronic components, assemblies, permanent magnets and soft magnetic products for use in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.

For this Sales Engineer position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You will ideally come from a technical sales background
  • Strong internal candidates looking to break into field sales may also be considered
  • A new business mindset and a team playing approach
