The Role: Based in the North of England, the successful Sales Engineer will be selling predominantly into electronic OEMs, with a small amount of time spent with industrial end users. You will be talking to production engineers and purchasing teams, mainly looking after a great set of existing accounts. Sales deals average £5k and the new sales engineer with benefit from a full company induction and product training scheme.
The Company: This family owned company holds excellent market share and is poised for more growth hence their current requirement for a new Sales Engineer. They have nearly three decades of experience in distributing a full range of soldering equipment, with a product portfolio including wires, fluxes, cleaning chemicals and thinners.
For this Sales Engineer position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You will have a track record of selling electrical, electronic or industrial components or consumables
Experience of selling into OEMs is required
Excellent rapport building skills and an engaging personality
