This exciting and extremely rare opportunity within the company requires the Sales Engineer to be responsible for the Sales & Business Development activities of Test & Measurement products and services.

My client is a world leading organisation operating from multiple sites across the UK. They are one of the world's largest technical solutions companies supplying advanced engineering systems in to and across multiple sectors.

Description

This fantastic opportunity will be developing an existing market space within the test and measurement segment.

The Sales Engineer

  • Develop, manage and maintain specific customer relationships on a daily basis
  • Identify and develop new customers & opportunities within the aviation, defence, telco, satcoms operators, electronics, semiconductor and other hi -tech sectors
  • Develop and present business strategy & customer engagement plan (capture plans, stakeholder mapping, etc..)
  • Identify and develop service & technology opportunities
  • Manage and maintain BD pipeline reporting (customer / programme specific)
  • Accountable for product line growth to meet identified business targets
  • Understand market dynamics and predict trends and future customer requirements
  • Manage the customers RFQ's through the organisation to submission, negotiation and award

Profile

The Sales Engineer -

  • Should be an effective communicator at all levels with both colleagues and customers
  • Show an ability to manage internal issues and efficiently interface with customers
  • Able to lead successful negotiation at a senior level involving both technical and commercial issues
  • Should possess excellent management and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to accept full responsibility for territory management
  • A proven background in a sales/engineering environment, underpinned if possible.
  • Experience in electronics, test and measurement systems, products and services would be ideal however exposure in adjacent sector will be considered.

Job Offer

Base salary £50,000 plus £30,000 OTE + Car + benefits
