You will be join a high performing team assisting account execs in building new business across the UK.
My client is a very well established software business in the Governance, Risk and compliance markets. They focus on helping businesses with large global audit teams by providing tool such as large data extraction and cloud based audit management software to ensure process can be completed far more efficiently than before.
The role of the Sales development representative will be to assist the account executives with lead generation and new business development. Your role will be to research relevant markets, such as Public sector, financial services and Manufacturing to find potential prospect. You role will be to qualify these prospects and pass successful ones over to the relevant account executive to follow up on.
You will be targeted on the number of leads that you produce which will count toward your commissions. You will be part of a small team that operates within Europe so you will have a lot of responsibility give to you early on.
The successful sales development representative will need to be able to function well within and small team and have the initiative to work on their own. You will also need to have a can do attitude toward business development and lead generation.
Other skills necessary to be considered are
Previous background in lead generation or telephone based sales
Previous background within the software or SaaS sectors will be a major advantage in your application
Strong telephone manner with excellent business development skills
A focused attitude to building new business
A mentality to take on a challenge
Previous experience in Domain, audit compliance or governance will also be a distinct advantage.
