A successful SME specialising in the high-end bespoke internal and external door market is looking for a Sales Assistant.

Responsibilities:

- Initial point of contact for new enquiries
- Dealing with all sales enquiries; answering technical questions and providing information
- Organising send out of samples and brochures as requested
- Taking client details and recording these on the CRM system
- Following up enquiries as soon as possible after initial contact
- Liaising with Surveyor to book site surveys if needed
- Optimise the showroom experience
- Using information provided by the client to formulate costs and full quotations
- Providing more accurate lead times based on quotations and informing the client of payment terms
- Sending client information and schedules to factories to ascertain a purchase order price
- Liaising with suppliers to gather information and answer client queries
- Requesting drawings from external door suppliers and ensuring paperwork is signed off in good time
- Revising quotations following site survey
- Keeping individual projects up to date and ensuring these are marked with "To Do's" for relevant colleagues
- Finalising order requirements and sending deposit invoice for payment
- Sign off orders with Operations Manager for production
- First point of call for order queries, addressing as necessary
- Sending out 'thank you' emails for client's business
- Requesting testimonials and case study opportunities
