My client is an established distributor of raw materials such as composites, additives and plastics with a global presence. The successful candidate will have the support of the sales team but will also be able to manager their desk as their own business.
The Sales Assistant's primary responsibility will be to work with the filed sales team and focus in up selling to current customers. Further responsibilities include:-
- Selling a portfolio of raw materials to manufacturers ranging from car manufacturers to anyone using glass or fibre glass as their raw products.
- Learning about the products to enhance their selling potential and become specialist in the plastics and composites section.
- Focus on selling the add-ons such as resins, peroxides and accelerators.
- Sell to production and purchasing departments.
The successful Sales Assistant will:-
Basic salary from £20,000 to £24,000 depending on experience.
10% annual bonus
Pension (5% input from client)
