Purpose Of The Role To provide strategic and tactical leadership to the sales dept, responsibility for the recruitment, training, motivation and management of the telesales sales team.
Company As a leading specialist distributor of electronics components, based in York and Hull. For over 25 years they have been focused on delivering outstanding service, quality and reliability, both in the UK and overseas. They are looking for a Sales Manager to nurture and manage about 20 telesales professionals.
Responsibilities - Recruit, manage and develop sales staff - Achieve team sales targets - Assess relevant training needs for team members - Conduct monthly performance appraisals with the team - Work with purchasing dept to help maximise profit - Assist implementing corporate marketing strategies - Learn market trends and industry news - Reports activity to the MD on a weekly basis
Required Experience - Growing and working a telesales team - Delivering sales against projections - Setting and achieving budgets, targets and KPI's - Have marketing experience - Customer facing - Previous experience in the electronics field would be a considered a distinct advantage
