This leading specialist in the design and manufacture of Mechanical Seals and Support Systems is looking to recruit a Sales Administrator.

Working as part of a dedicated team the job holder will be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers, providing them with first class customer service at all times. You will provide support for the external sales team and contracts service team.

Job Dimensions

To provide excellent service to customers
To co-ordinate enquiries and orders with internal departments to ensure problem free customer experience

Principal Accountabilities
First point of contact for telephone calls, redirecting calls to relevant person and taking messages and dealing with visitors face to face presenting a professional environment at all times.
- Dealing with customer enquiries compiling prices and stock availability
- Raising quotations as requested by sales engineers and send to customers
- Updating quote register and follow up on quotations sent
- Updating Daily UPS sheet and forward tracking number to relevant customers
- Raising purchase orders and place with supplier on approval
- Updating credit note analysis and coordinating with different departments
- Processing customer leads sent from Head Office
- Carrying out invoice run at the end of the day
- Resolving invoicing queries both external and internal
- Scanning purchase orders / signed delivery notes where required
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting with stock taking as required
- Providing general office support to Sales Administrators
- Actively participate in ensuring company performance measures are met, in particular those related to service levels

Skills, knowledge and experience:
- GCSE Grade C+ in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicator both written and oral
- Exceptional and professional telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timescales
- Competent in the use of MS Office packages. Excel critical
- Experience of working in an office environment, preferably within an engineering organisation
- Experience of administration duties
- Experience within a customer facing role
- Desire to provide exceptional customer service
- Eager to assist in the continuous improvement of the organisation
- Ability to promote, embrace and manage change
- Contribute to a happy working environment
- Effective communicator
- Ability to demonstrate self-motivation
