My client, an FMCG Consumer Insight business, are looking for a Sales Account Manager - Consumer Insight to join their exciting team based out of their Berkshire office.

My client is one of the market leading providers of data insight and consumer information for global brands and retailers.

My client provides global manufacturers and retailers with critical data insights, allowing them to enhance their online sales and market positioning. My client delivers crucial online information, including pricing, search ranking and results, proportion of online shelf and promotions, in countries all across the world.

With price conscious shoppers showing lower store loyal and having the ability to pick and choose where they shop with relative ease, the need for brands and retailers to have rapid, reliable insights to ensure they win in both the digital and traditional store has never been greater nor has the demand for my client's services.

To aid with the continued grow of their business and customer base they are looking for sales managers in the UK to drive their continued growth. This role will play a pivotal part in the continued success of their business.

Description

Sales Account Manager - Consumer Insight:

- Build a pipeline of opportunities across an allocated portfolio of FMCG manufacturers across the EMEA region

- Deliver against quarterly sales targets by closing contracts with deal size ranging from entry to multi country enterprise level

- Developing a high level of expertise of the my client's industry, product offerings, competitive landscape and understanding of associated technologies and how they solve customer's business issues

- Profiling and researching target accounts in assigned territories utilising methods and tools such as LinkedIn, SalesForce and others

- Working closely with our Business Development Reps and Marketing team to effectively manage in-bound opportunities

- Arranging conference and online calls, product demos and face-to-face meetings to demonstrate solution benefits & capabilities to key decision makers

- Preparing and managing sales pipeline and opportunities in SalesForce.com

- Negotiating pricing of contracts and closing deals

Profile

Sales Account Manager - Consumer Insight:

The ideal candidates will have experience of exceeding targets in an FMCG and / or technology based sales environment. Working in a fast paced company they will have the ability to learn quickly and have the self-motivation and determination it takes to succeed in a rapidly evolving environment.

Ability to manage the sales process from start to finish is critical and this will include working effectively with internal stakeholders such as Marketing and Strategy & Insights to ensure we offer solutions which deliver against our clients' needs.

Qualified candidates will possess:

- 3+ years of direct sales experience with proven track record of exceeding targets

- Experience of selling a service / software / data / consumer insight into the FMCG Market

- The ability to effectively engage with prospects at all levels up to board

- Excellent consultative sales skills, with a clear focus on building an understanding of client needs

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and active listening skills

- Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask to prioritise and manage workflow

- Strong attention to detail and ability to effectively engage with prospective clients

- Solid account qualification skills; Self-starter approach to researching target accounts and gathering contacts

- A positive and enthusiastic outlook toward the attainment of sales and marketing goals

- Focused drive to exceed expectations

Job Offer

£40,000 - £70,000 basic salary DOE

£50,000 - £70,000 commission on top (double OTE)
