The Point of Care Regional Sales Manager will promote the Company's range of Point of Care diagnostic products to appropriate customer groups within the designated geographical areas, in the manner laid down in the Field Sales Plan in force at the time. They will act as a role model for territory managers to influence adoption of best practices by less experienced sales people.

Description

  • Achieve sales growth to targets via promotion of company products to new accounts, and expert level management of the tender cycle and ad hoc sales opportunities

  • Pro-actively maintain existing business base through account management, promotion of products, working with key internal and external contacts

  • Perform product demonstrations or product presentations to key stakeholders at a company approved level of certification

  • Create and implement local sales action plans (strategic selling)

  • Coordinate, Manage, and take overall responsibility for the tender return process

  • Monitor and report on competitor and market place trends to allow rapid reaction to market movements and ensure win rate is maintained.

  • Initiate and maintain contacts with recognised opinion leaders

  • Plan and organise cost effective call programme to reach key customers on territory

  • Act as a role model for territory managers to influence adoption of best practices by less experienced sales people.

Profile

  • Knowledge of laboratory medicine as practiced in National Health Service Laboratories

  • Requires professional selling skills in order to achieve targets

  • Understand purchasing methods employed by public and private organisations.

  • Comply with established reporting and record-keeping procedures against set deadlines and standards.

  • Experience of working in a variety of businesses

  • Demonstrable sales experience with experience working in NHS laboratory desirable

  • Formal sales training, track record of sales excellence and attainment.

Must live in one of the following regions:

Norfolk
Cambridgeshire
Suffolk
Bedforshire
Essex
Hertfordshire

Job Offer

Competitive salary dependent on experience up to £42,000 basic salary

12.5k bonus per annum
