About the role:
As the Regional Sales Manager you will retain responsibility for Key Accounts, Sales and Business Development in the existing sales area. By working with your team to maintain and expand the customer base you will be able to maximize the sales of all the organizations products, by value, volume and margin. Allowing you to identify core and non-core opportunities, to provide added value to the manufacturer or stockist relationship.
The aim to achieve regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; you will be preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements and implementing change.
To be successful as a Regional Sales Manager you will have experience of regional territory management and key account management. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
You must also have experience managing a team, both in terms of driving results but also developing individual’s careers through mentoring and guidance.
