THE ROLE: As Regional Sales Engineer for this multimillion turnover business, your remit will be to sell a range of building envelope accessories and products into Consulting Engineers, Designers, Specifiers, Contractors and Distributors. Working on major projects within Rail, Commercial and Industrial sectors, the role of Regional sales Engineer is very much an account development position, working with companies who have previously worked with the business and identifying new projects that are on their horizon. This is a technical specification position so the ability to win and break specs will be paramount for this role.
THE PERSON: In order to be considered for the role of Regional sales Engineer you must be able show at interview that you have sold to specifiers and dealt with Architects, conducting CPDs and winning projects. The role will require you to sell to various market sectors including structural engineering, civil engineering, building services, rail and architectural companies, so ideally you will have a background in dealing with these businesses. Your focus on your career, desire to succeed and strong sales skills will also make you the ideal candidate for this position.
