Job Title: Pharmacist – Account Manager

Based High Wycombe – Luton – North of M25

Salary £45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience

Plus car allowance, 15% bonus, private healthcare, pension, lunch allowance and 25 days’ annual leave.

Our client is a Global Pharmaceutical Company committed to research and development; they have a strong heritage in bringing to market innovative products to primary and secondary Diabetes health care. As a result of an exciting team expansion we are currently looking for an Account Manager to develop relationships with CCGs and CHPS,

The Role

  1. The role requires an individual, with a pharmacy background, to display drive and passion with experience of working across the NHS within CCGs, and with Primary Care Doctors and Nurses, particularly key influencers.
  2. Work with Territory Sales People who cover GPs, Practice Managers, Dispensing Practices, Pharmacists in Secondary Care and key influencers within trading CCG accounts.
  3. You will be responsible for working autonomously on a national basis and proactively identify and develop opportunities for sales success. You will have sole responsibility for all new CCG customers and targets
  4. This is a great opportunity to demonstrate your business acumen, can-do-attitude and confidence. In return, this role offers a high level of autonomy in target areas and opportunity to work closely with the sales team

To be considered for this Pharmacist Account Manager – Area Sales Manager role you will ideally meet the following criteria:

  •  Medical sales experience with ABPI qualification, diabetes experience is not essential.
  • We would consider a pharmacist with some commercial experience from a retail environment
  • Experience working with or knowledge of CCG stakeholders
