Your new role
As the NHS Hospital National Account Executive, you will be accountable for all NHS Hospital and Prison related wholesale business within a defined territory across the North East / West UK.
The core remit of this role will be to manage and maintain profitable and sustainable business relationships within NHS Hospitals. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong network of contacts at all levels throughout the Hospitals and to demonstrate an awareness of the regional Hospital structure, stakeholders and political environment.
Covering the North West - UK, the Hospital Account Executive will be responsible for a territory with a £50-100m wholesale turnover. Typically this turnover is secured through regional framework contracts, where you will be expected to monitor, manage and develop the framework agreement contracting process within your defined territory.
To succeed in this role, he/she must be able to demonstrate credibility with customers through their strong Hospital Pharmacy experience and ability to support the successful implementation of the Lord Carter recommendations with a clear territory plan.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Actively manage and support the debt management approach with NHS Hospital customers, driving to improve the net working capital benefits for Celesio UK
* Manage designated accounts, achieving agreed commercial objectives through implementation of an appropriate contact and segmentation strategy.
* Manage the appropriate use of AAH HS proposition resources and services (AVS, Medecator, Bulk, Generics) in a formal territory planning document.
* The successful development of an internal support network which helps facilitate outstanding customer service. (AAH Branch teams, Finance teams, Marketing teams, Generics Teams)
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have proven Hospital Pharmacy experience or qualification (e.g. Hospital Pharmacy Technician) and be able to demonstrate a self-confident, open mindedness with a pragmatic "can do" attitude. To succeed in this role, he/she will possess a clear ability to manage accounts and influence stakeholders at all levels, with strong presentation, negotiation and planning skills.
This unique opportunity is perfect for a NHS Pharmacy Technician, Assistant Technical Officer (ATO) or Procurement Manager within a Hospital Pharmacy Department; looking for the chance to carve a successful career within one of the UK's leading wholesale Pharmacy providers.Due to the travel involved with this vacancy a full UK driving Licence will be required. The successful applicant will be expected to travel to the Celesio HQ in Coventry on a monthly basis for team meetings.
