Location: The role will be based at our offices in Leicester (LE4 9LN) however domestic and international travel may also be required
Brief overview of job role: The New Business Development Executive will support the Sales Manager with business to business sales, by identifying sales leads, pitch Nylacast service and products to new prospects and as such manage opportunities to ensure prospect conversion.
Main duties include: • Develop new sales opportunities with prospective clients, actively seeking new and repeat sales business (through phone calls, email and face to face meetings) • Build relationship with key buying influences • Generate strong leads across all sectors, and seeking ‘gap closers’ with products and sectors • Market research/lead generation • Meet sales goals/performance measures • Provide weekly and monthly progress reports to manager • Attend trade shows and exhibitions where required (national and international travel) • Work accurately and efficiently whilst under pressure • Prepare quotations and actively follow these up to obtain business
Desired Skills and Qualifications: • Previous B2B experience • Motivation for sales (positive attitude) • Prospecting skills/ lead generation • Market knowledge (OEM’s) • Ability to meet sales goals / targets • Professionalism/Relationship builder/ highly organised/ flexible • Experience of Microsoft – Excel, Word, Outlook & CRM Systems • Travel required (UK and International) therefore a Driving Licence, Passport are required
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a daily 60-minute lunch break
