They appreciate that the potential markets for their product have not been reached, so they are looking for a candidate that can see the bigger picture and future applications.

Description

The National Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Driving new business to achieve targets
  • Visit new and existing customers
  • Ensure everyone is contacted regularly and all information is recorded correctly
  • Attend and present at various sector relevant exhibitions
  • Promote the company brand and all new products
  • Rapport building
  • Develop an awareness of trends, the marketplace and their competitors

Profile

The successful candidate will be:

  • Will have 3+ years experience in sales (preferably with the industrial R2M)
  • Ideally have an understanding of lighting or electronics
  • Take an entrepreneurial, self-motivated approach
  • Be able to work autonomously and take accountability for your own performance
  • Be keen and passionate about the industrial industry
  • Be well organised and productive
  • Be comfortable dealing with SME's at board/owner level
  • Know what it means to be a genuine team player
