THE ROLE: The role of National Account Sales Manager is an exciting opportunity that will see you managing a base of specialist distributors across the U.K. Although the clear majority of your time will be spent developing the distribution channel you will also be required, as National Account Sales Manager to spend time with some high-end OEMs and end users. Dealing mainly with Distribution Managers and their teams, your role will be to encourage sales of your products with the distributors to their end users. On the other end of the role you will also need to deal with Design and Specification Engineers within the OEMs to ensure your products are specified in. An in-depth and varied role for a truly ambitious and successful National Account Sales Manager.
THE PERSON Our client is looking to interview National Account Sales Managers who have sold via distribution. Your experience could have been gained whilst selling through industrial distributors or electrical wholesalers or indeed specialist distributors within your particular field. Full product training is on offer to the successful candidate so it does not matter what you have sold previously, however, you will need wholesale experience. Our client is also looking for a sales professional who is diligent in their approach, organised, structured and with strong negotiation skills. Basic: £40,000 - £50,000
