National Account Manager – Major Multiples
Home Based with access to Cambridge Head Office 2- 3 days per week
To £58,000 + bonus + car allowance + benefits
We are a fast growing premium food brand and produce natural, organic, flavoursome and nutritionally rich products. We have pioneered the food in our category in the UK and have witnessed year on year sales growth. Our products, both branded and own label are listed in all of the major multiples and we are seeking a talented National Account Manager with a proven ability to make things happen and able to unlock potential opportunity. This is a pivotal role at the heart of our International and innovative company.
Reporting to the National Account Controller, you will help develop a business plan and sales strategy that will deliver both profit and growth for a significant part of the category. You will manage relationships cross functionally, driving sales, and managing the trade promotional spend. Developing retailer category plans ensuring they integrate with company and sector strategy as well as leading JBP discussions and negotiations.
Ideal candidates will have an FMCG Food - background that has provided them with classical sales training and an understanding of the core needs of account management. We will also candidates from a more entrepreneurial food background. You will have the ability to manage complex negotiations backed up with a grasp of category management. An understanding of supply chain from International manufacturing would be beneficial although not essential. You will be an action orientated and passionate individual who is happy to roll your sleeves up and work as part of a small, dynamic team.
