The Role: The successful National Account Manager will be responsible for setting up new accounts in the foodservice industry, dealing with buyers, business owners and directors. Working with Tier 2 and 3 customers, you will be working in a fast paced environment with fantastic autonomy on your position and career. Benefiting from the support of a management team who trust their staff but are there to help, this is a genuine groundfloor sales opportunity.
The Company: Having developed a top three position in their marketplace over the last two decades, our client is a leading distributor of frozen, chilled and ambient foods with excellent pedigree of opening up and competing in new countries. They supply a quality range of poultry, seafood and game and are now looking to employ a new National Account Manager to help achieve their goals.
For this National Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong experience of managing national accounts at head office buyer level
You must have a track record of selling food into the foodservice industry
Sales of poultry or fish is preferred
Candidates will be real self-starters with plenty of credibility and a new business approach
Benefits of this National Account Manager role:
£40,000 - £50,000 Base Salary
+ 15% Commission
