This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate to develop a career within the FMCG industry. The role is office based in Surrey within a rapidly growing alcoholic drinks company. The National Account Executive will have hands on approach in the development of the company through a diverse accounts portfolio.

The client has been well established within the market for a number of years and continues to grow rapidly. Through providing a clear career structure, the role has arisen due to promotions within the team .They are looking to hire as soon as possible as they have recently gained many accounts within the on trade channel and are looking for an National Account Executive to join the team. With a strong focus on training and development, my client has strong retention rates, providing the stepping stones to a long successful career within the FMCG- drinks market. With innovation being key within the business, the company enables members of staff at all levels to provide input and value to further the success of the business.


This is an office based role based at the companies headquarters in Surrey. The National Account Executive will be a part of an ever-growing sales team, encompassing the the full array of business development responsibilities working alongside the marketing and category teams.

The ideal candidate will be in a position to think on their feet, adapting procedures to tailor approaches to customer needs. The hands on nature of the role requires the candidate to further their industry knowledge through being as the key point of contact between clients and staff within the organisation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with promotion plans and P & L within on-trade.

  • Promotional forecasting

  • Working to agreed revenue targets and ensuring there is a sufficient pipeline to achieve these targets

  • Supporting the Senior National Account Manager with preparing promotional forecasts and in monthly review meetings.

  • Working closely with the customer care team to ensure client satisfaction is maintained and specific requests are followed up

  • Carry out monthly visits to ensure promotional activity is being maintained

  • Analyse competitors activity


The successful candidate will be a graduate, with a strong interest to develop a career within the FMCG market. Given the role, the successful candidate will have the ability to think outside of the box and use their initiative to implement plans and ideas to further the success of the team. As the Drinks National Account Executive, you will:

  • Ideally have some working knowledge of the Drinks sector, though this is not a pre-requisite

  • Have a proven track record in a similar role within FMCG

  • Have strong communication and negotiation skills

  • A track record of developing strategies for individual accounts that have result in increased revenue streams

  • Have strong numeracy and analytical skills with an eye for detail

Job Offer

the National Account Executive provides a generous basic salary between 25-35k (depending on experience) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
