In their 2016 Global Entertainment and Media outlook, they predict the UK media sector will grow at 3% per annum over the next 5 years to be worth £68.2 billion by 2020. With predicted growth in the first quarter of 2017 they are hoping to capitalise on the bearish market.
In the travel & hospitality vertical, they are a trusted partner to more than 18 airlines and travel groups. Their target audience is anyone and everyone who travels.
Passenger numbers are set to double in size by 2030. Advertising in the travel & hospitality space allows businesses to speak to a audience who have established wealth to buy luxury goods.
As a Media Sales Executive you will be selling at an international level, contacting other travel businesses and outsourcing advertising, sponsorship and marketing tools.
Responsibilities of the Media Sales Executive would include selling advertising space as well as brand extensions such as, events, seminars and supplements. The role will be carried out over the telephone and through face-to-face visits, to a portfolio of existing optics clients and agencies, as well as new business developed by yourself.
You would manage one existing account with one of the 18 travel groups and speak to clients who would advertise their business in the magazine of the travel group. As you develop in the role you could be expected to travel to meet clients, this could be the advertiser or the magazine.
The role would involve reaching daily and weekly KPI's and the individual would have a proven track record of success in reaching KPI's.
£25,000 Basic Salary + OTE + Travel Allowance + Excellent Benefits
