Due to growth, a brand new opportunity has been created for a Major Accounts Manager to be part of the EMEA team for this global, market leading, materials handling manufacturer!

My client is a Global Materials Handling Manufacturer.

Description

The primary responsibility for the Major Accounts Manager will be to manage, develop and retain existing accounts whilst identifying strategies to secure business with new customers.

Further responsibilities include:-

  • Growing market share across the regions through account management and business development.
  • Identifying, prospecting and pursuing every sales opportunity to create a strategic plan on how to develop further.
  • Supporting the local Account Manager/Dealer in their activities.
  • Accurately forecasting sales orders and recording all activities on the CRM.

Profile

The successful Major Accounts Manager will:-

  • Have a strong sales track record, preferably in materials handling or capital equipment.
  • Have strong experience in selling across multiple stakeholders in a complex sales cycle.
  • Have a strategic, consultative approach to sales with the ability to manage lengthy sales processes.
  • Ideally have experience of selling into the food and beverage sector.
  • Have exceptional verbal and written skills- confident in presenting in front of a panel.
  • Live in London or the South East.

Job Offer

Basic Salary up to £60k dependant on experience.
