Key Accounts Director – Telecom Services


Based Bristol, South West


Good Basic with realistic OTE in excess of £100k


 

Our Client supply telecom and data equipment worldwide.  They sell a full range of telecom equipment mainly to other carriers such as circuit packs, complete data and voice switches, transmission networks, routers and servers etc. They sell to more than 1000 different companies worldwide every year and due to expansion are seeking to recruit an additional Key Accounts Director based from their Bristol office.


The Key Accounts Director will retain and grow recurring revenue streams from nominated key accounts within the EMEA region. You will be responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. You will represent the entire range of their Telecom products and services. You will lead the customer account planning cycle ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by our client.


You will also need to establish professional relationships with key personnel in your assigned customer accounts and coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service and management resource to support the overachievement of set performance objectives and customer’s expectations. Whilst meeting your assigned targets, you will proactively lead the strategic account planning process in collaboration with wider business and management to support the retention and growth of allocated key accounts.


The successful applicant will have extensive sales experience of at least 5 years selling into other Telcos. You will be able to demonstrate, with examples, your experience in building strategic relationships within other telecom organisations. Proof of over-achievement of set targets and the ability to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction will be expected.
