Due to a recent period of growth, our client is now looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage the company's portfolio of national accounts and continue to win new business with targeted national retailers.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new retail accounts to distribute the brand and also maintain successful relationships with existing customers.
You will develop marketing plans, forecast growth and attend exhibitions.
The role will be based at our clients head office in Kirkham, near Preston (up to 1 hour travel distance) but you will be required to travel throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
In order to be considered for the role you will have proven experience in a similar role within the retail sector / FMCG with a proven track record in opening new business, hitting sales targets and developing long term business strategies. You will also have excellent organisation and time management skills, be commercially aware and be an excellent communicator and negotiator.
