Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing, innovative and entrepreneurial company and become part of winning hospital specialist team building partnerships with customers in core areas of ADHD, Anaesthetics and Cancer related breakthrough pain. Our high performing hospital specialists are given accountability and responsibility for the delivery of sales across their business areas with the sole focus on secondary care and related markets.
Background
Flynn Pharma Ltd is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on acquiring and commercializing branded products in secondary healthcare markets. Flynn Pharma was established in Ireland in 1994 at which time, the company acquired a series of oral and injectable antibiotics from Eli Lilly & Co Ltd. This was followed in 2007 by the launch of the Medikinet range for the treatment of ADHD. In 2009, Flynn launched Depodur, the only licensed extended release epidural opioid for post-operative pain in Europe. Also in 2009, Flynn reached agreement with Cephalon for the rights to the sole promotion of Actiq®, whose innovative drug delivery enabling technology will keep providing healthcare professionals and patients with a treatment for breakthrough cancer pain. We currently operate in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland with a recently acquired German subsidiary.
Ashfield In2Focus
Ashfield In2Focus was created by the merger of Ashfield Healthcare and In2Focus in July 2007. Owned by a leading international healthcare services provider, United Drug, Ashfield In2Focus has grown rapidly and now leads the market for contract sales in the UK. With expansion into event organisation, Sales Force Effectiveness and bespoke training and skills development, Ashfield In2Focus offers clients a tailored approach to their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
The role involves actively promoting Medikinet which is indicated as part of a comprehensive treatment programme for attention-deficit / hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children aged 6 years of age and over when remedial measures alone prove insufficient.
Key to success in this role will be your ability to:

Actively work towards and be accountable for achieving all objectives outlined by the client.

Maximise sales and increase market share of this product.

Maintain excellent on-going knowledge of the ADHD disease therapy area, company products and competitor activity.

Continuously demonstrate strong 1:1 selling skills in accordance with the client's expectations.

Identify and action new opportunities which will drive business.

Analyse, plan, implement and review the Local Health Economy Plans to ensure highest ROI.

To identify and develop key opinion leaders to positively influence the Secondary Care use of the Medikinet within the therapy area of ADHD.

Experience of developing and implementing clinical protocols and gaining formulary to ensure that Medikinet is used and ultimately available on all hospital formularies.

Effectively negotiate and influence key stakeholders across Secondary Care.

Demonstrate a high level of teamwork at all times sharing best practice

Must have 2 years experience of Secondary Care sales and be ABPI Qualified.
