The Role: The successful Key Account Manager will be predominantly managing a range of accounts in the distribution sector, dealing with builders merchants and painting and decorating merchants, all at head office level. You will be speaking to buying managers and directors and also liaising with regional sales managers, calling on your customers in a six weekly call cycle and looking to grow these and potential new accounts. This division manufactures and sells paint and roller brushes and turns over around £10 million, just a small part of this dynamic organisation. They are looking for someone to be based in their West Midlands offices 2 days a week.
For this Key Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
Strong field sales skills
You will have a track record of selling at head office level
What you have sold is less important than your confidence and self-reliance
Structured and autonomous sales people are sought
