Internal Sales Account Manager – Contract Furniture

Job Title: Internal Sales Account Manager – Contract Furniture/ Property Managers

Industry Sector: Property Industry, Contract Furniture, Interior Design, Refurbishment Accommodation, Next Day Delivery Services, Buy to Let, Property Managers, Residential Developers, Regional Housebuilders and Dress to Sell Rental Services

Office based: Manchester - Trafford Park

Remuneration: £20,000-£25,000 + 10% Commission

Benefits: Laptop, Pension, Cycle to work scheme etc.

The role of the Internal Sales Account Manager – Contract Furniture/ Property Managers will involve:

·        Internal sales position promoting furnishing and interior design replenishment solutions for the property industry

·        Promoting a next day delivery service

·        Targeting property managers and regional property developers/ housebuilders

·        80% inbound calls where you will be expected to up-sell enquires for furniture such as mattresses, sofa’s etc.

·        20% new business development, asking property managers who own multiple building for opportunities to sell our clients rental furniture

·        Joining a brand new team, focussing on pre-sales enquires (currently this service is sold by existing sales people within other parts of the business)

·        No individual target, but team target to grow revenue from £7m to £10m (group target is to double revenue by 2023)

·        Daily tasks will include growing existing accounts, signing customers up to our clients’ reward scheme and re-igniting dormant accounts

·        Fantastic opportunity to join a new team with established revenue that expects to grow to 10-15 pre-sales and post-sales in the short to medium term

·        Seasonal role, during peak times virtually zero new business, off-peak up to 50%

 

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Account Manager – Contract Furniture/ Property Managers with:

·        Positive attitude, make things happen mentality

·        Good on the phone

·        Ideally with some experience selling into property manager/ regional developers

·        Preferably some interest in design

·        Excellent account management skills/ ability to build rapport

·        Some sales experience

·        Knowledge of contract furniture is not required
