My client is a dynamic global organisation providing quality management systems, Product certification, materials testing and advisory services for their clients. As a result of expansion and a recent acquisition, they are delighted to be expanding their internal sales team in High Wycombe.
This B2B role involves prospect identification, cold calling, initial deal closing, and account development working with clients looking for product testing and quality management systems eg ISO 9001 and training course for their inhouse quality teams. As a global business, they can offer excellent career progression, and this role will suit someone who has knowledge or experience within the construction, materials manufacturing, doors/windows distributors/manufacturers sectors. You will get extensive training and development to ensure you are at the top of your game!
This role is fast paced and will require you to work with both incoming leads, as well as conducting outbound calls and generating additional business from existing accounts.
Identifying, securing and developing new customers to increase revenue for both new and existing services.
Building and developing existing customer relationships to increase loyalty and improve customer retention.
Work closely with Training and Business Development Manager
Negotiation of prices and service levels (to agreed limits)
Carrying out research and arranging meetings for the Training and Business Development Manager
Representation at exhibitions and events (where required)
Carrying out occasional external meetings (where required)
Producing weekly reports outlining performance against targets.
Produce and follow up quotes for both existing customers as well as new prospects developed as part of this role.
Provide feedback on the existing sales strategy and suggest possible inclusions or improvements.
As part of the role you will be expected to meet the agreed financial and activity sales targets.
Skills and experience:
· Proven customer relationship management & sales skills
· Self-starter and ability to develop business opportunities
· Strong verbal skills, particularly on the phone
· Ability to grow existing and new accounts, good understanding of the sales process
· 1 years + telephone selling (ideally within either construction, manufacturing, doors/windows industries, however we will also consider people with a technical understanding of the above)
· Proven track record in meeting deadlines
