My client now has a vacancy for an Internal Key Account Manager to join their organisation based in County Durham. This role is responsible for managing and developing an existing key customer base.

My client is a multi-national organisation.


The Internal Key Account Manager is responsible for managing and developing an existing key customer base. You will be responsible for driving sales and profits whilst maintaining and further growing the relationships within your specified key accounts.


The successful Internal Key Account Manager will have the following demonstrable skills:

  • Proven track record of key account management, ideally from an engineering/manufacturing and production or technical/industrial sales background.
  • Proven record in developing a customer base of key accounts.
  • Excellent relationship management skills at all levels - both internally and externally.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including verbal, written and listening.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, plan and manage own diary.
  • Self-motivated with a positive, resilient attitude.
  • Please note this role is office based within County Durham.
