A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and successful senior FMCG sales professional to join this leading US H&B business who are looking to bring in a Head of Sales - Europe to drive the growth of the brand across the UK and European retail space targeting customers such as Boots, Superdrug and Tesco to drive volume and distribution.

Due to some fantastic growth in the United States and subsequent online sales a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced and successful sales leader to join my client brand to increase sales into the UK and European markets through an effective route to market strategy.
The new Head of Sales for Europe will be based in the UK and develop, through their experience a distribution network to grow the sales of my clients products throughout the regions. They will research and assess each market, conduct a SWOT analysis of the best route to market and then execute a specific sales plan for that market. They will use their experience across the pharmacy and retail markets to map out the key target customers and establish a successful network.
The Head of Sales for Europe will be given all the necessary tools to get the job done - will work with autonomy and report into the US. They will establish the network, drive retail distribution, appoint the right distributors and agents, grow sales and represent the brand in a very effective and successful way.
The successful candidate for this opportunity will be someone who can demonstrate a strong track record within the Health & Beauty Industry but this may include the Consumer Pharmacy or Personal Care markets also. They will have experience of dealing with National and International Retailers as well as building a distribution network through 3rd party partners or agents in the UK and across Europe.
The candidate will be a self-starter, very driven and hungry to succeed. They will be able to work with full autonomy and be comfortable with reporting into a remote line manager and management team in the US.
The candidate will be able to demonstrate their full understanding of the grocery markets, impulse, wholesale and convenience markets, as well as the pharmacy and independent channels to maximize all sales opportunities. The candidate will be internationally mobile and be comfortable with regular travel for this role.
