A brand new role has presented itself with this award winning exhibitions company who are now looking for a Head of Sales to manage, grow and develop the internal sales team, whilst developing commercial opportunities in line with corporate objectives!

Client Details

An award winning exhibitions company based in the South East who has developed a strong brand/presence within the industry!

Description

The primary responsibilities for the Head of Sales will be to manage and develop the internal sales team whilst leading from the front and prospecting, identifying new opportunities to achieve the annual sales target! Further responsibilities include:-

  • Selling over the phone to prospective delegates
  • Meeting with exhibitors and presenting the services of the organisation to multiple stakeholders
  • Building and owning the monthly/annual sales plan.
  • Developing marketing campaigns and promotional material working alongside the marketing team.
  • Coaching the internal sales team and identifying ways to maximise opportunities.
  • Working with domestic and international partners whilst collaborating with a number of trade associations

Profile

The successful Head of Sales candidate will:-

  • Ideally have experience in exhibition sales
  • Will be a confident proactive individual, comfortable in operating within an internal sales environment.
  • Have exception written and oral skills with the ability to present to multiple stakeholders at various levels.
  • Be comfortable selling over the phone
  • Have experience in managing people
  • Be a self starter, with strong interpersonal skills and an organised, methodical approach.
