Position: UK Head of Sales
Location: London, with travel
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
Salary: £75K base with £150K OTE 
Benefits: Competitive salary, Performance-related bonus; No weekend working (40 hours Monday – Friday); 24 days paid holidays + public holidays (increases with length of service); Company pension scheme.

About the role:

This is the ideal opportunity for a candidate to demonstrate and develop their skills in an exciting industry working for one of the most innovative financial services companies in the UK. They are looking for a Sales Manager to run a sales team of both Business Development Managers (BDM) and Employer Closers (EC) as well as an external field sales agency to engage with accountancy firms on behalf of their unique Saas-based workplace pension solution. The candidate will also have business development responsibilities.

You will be responsible for a team, delivering employers to the platform. This will involve managing both a team of BDM’s (internal and external) building relationships with accountancy firms across the UK and EC’s who deliver employers to the platform via the accountant relationship. You and your team will be building partnerships with these accountant firms which will provide a channel for them to sell the Saas-based workplace pension services to SMEs.

This role will be based in the London office, with time on the road within the UK. Due to this, the location of the applicant is flexible.

About you:

They are looking for candidates with management capabilities, good communications skills as well as, ideally, an existing network of accountants and a strong background in business development, relationship management and sales.

- Financial services experience is not essential as full training will be provided
- Possess excellent presentation and organisational skills
- Be motivated by sales targets
- Have a passion for selling
- Have a proven track record within a business to business environment
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Specific experience in interacting with local accountants and knowledge of accountancy contacts in your local area
- Comfortable working in a competitive, fast-changing environment
- Full UK driving licence
