A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a successful sales professional with people management experience to join this true market leading furniture for education organisation as their new Head of Sales based from their Oxfordshire base, looking after the internal and external sales teams, driving and shaping the sales business unit to successfully increase market share and continue to be a key player in their market.
My client, as mentioned is a market leading furniture for education business based in Oxfordshire who have been working within the Education sector for many years with a fantastic and traditional history.
The Head of Sales will be responsible for the internal and external sales teams including a customer service team. They will be tasked with driving the sales strategy, shaping and forming as well as executing the sales s plans to all customers. They will target the teams against key metrics with all customers and get heavily involved with all major pitches and tenders for new and existing business with key accounts. They will act as the lead within the sales department, being the example of drive and success and recruit, coach, mentor and lead the team to make them as successful as possible.
In addition they will be tasked with ensuring the administration behind the department is as efficient as possible. For example, they will utilise the CRM system and data, continuously refresh and update customer and account data to reflect a true picture of the customer and account trading pattern, task the team with making sure data is constantly refreshed and updated as well being utilised for outbound sales activity.
The successful candidate for the Head of Sales role will come with the following skills and experience:-
£40,000 to £50,000 per annum + benefits and OTE
