Strong Recruitment seek an experienced Head of Sales from the travel and tourism industry to hold a newly developed role for a Tourism & Events Group. A varied role, which will involve :

 

-          Heading a professional and successful sales team who account manage key clients and continually develop new sales avenues

-          Manage a wide portfolio of product including sponsorship opportunities, event sales, trade partnerships and conferences/workshops

-          Be the key point of contact for senior members of the global tourism industry

-          Develop new structures and procedures as the team are rapidly growing to meet the demand of new sales opportunities

-          Attend international trade events and conferences in Europe and long haul destinations

-          Manage all commercial activities of the company

 

As Head of Sales your experience should include :

 

-          A varied network of contacts and understanding of the tourism sector including tourist boards, attractions, hotels, transportation, online and travel wholesalers

-          Successful management of a sales team

-          Passion for the tourism sector

-          A 2nd European language would be useful

-          Educated to degree level

-          Ability to work in a fast moving environment

-          Ability to travel as the company hold a number of international events a year
