An industry-leading Workforce Solutions provider is seeking a Head of Business Development to implement strategy and drive new business.

Client Details

Our client is an industry-leading Workforce Solutions provider embarking on a period of growth.


The Head of Business Development will take on an important, senior leadership role, with primary responsibility for the operational management of key business development functions within the group, and playing a lead role in the organisation's strategic development.

The Head of Business Development will be accountable for the attainment of annual sales target relating to new business, client retention, and product/service mix, through effective sales process implementation, collaboration and leadership.

The successful candidate will ensure good governance over operations and the delivery of corporate aims and objectives.

This is a home based role with travel.


The Head of Business Development will:

  • Have a proven track record in successfully developing and implementing short and medium-long term business plans, and the development of performance measures, ensuring the effective allocation of people, information and money
  • Have a successful track record in achieving sales and delivering year-on-year commercial success
  • Knowledge and understanding of standing financial instructions
  • Demonstrate political awareness and diplomatic skills across a broad range of stakeholders and contexts
  • Ideally have sold into the Healthcare Sector and/or Public Sector
