Our client is a dynamic technology company that is backed by Telefonica and based in the heart of the London tech start-up scene.

Their cloud based SaaS, virtual queue management platform is revolutionising how enterprises enhance their customers in-store experience. They have a fast paced growth plan with the business being adopted by restaurants, retailers, events and the health sector in order to revolutionise the customer experience in their venues.

Working with some significant global brands, including O2 and House of Fraser as well as a number of other significant retail brands, as well as further restaurant brands and museums in UK and USA.

This is a 3month paid internship offering £16K pro rata, followed by a permanent position.

A typical day would be:

You will be an ambitious Commercial Assistant to support the CEO/Co-Founder with sales, marketing, general administration, innovation consulting and content creation.

The right candidate will be someone who is dynamic, a fast learner and has a variety of skills. The role is fantastic for anyone looking to build a variety of skills and to gain an understanding in B2B sales and marketing, entrepreneurship and generally running a business.

You will report directly to the CEO/Co-Founder. Like the CEO you will therefore be working dynamically across multiple business functions, alongside a dynamic team who will be able to help you to learn and grow your skills.

* Research target clients and partners and generate contact lists

* Assist our CEO/Co-Founder with general everyday tasks and sales tasks (email management, diary management, taking/making calls, CRM management)

* Send outbound mail (electronic and physical) to target prospective clients, partners and investors to gain meetings for the CEO (or at times sales team)

* Write and create content (about business and retail) to publish on behalf of the CEO via the company blog, social media channels and press contacts

* Generally work on Sales and Marketing campaigns with the CEO and marketing and sales team

* Attend meetings with the CEO (and other senior team members) to take minutes and identify actions required

* Assist our proactive CEO with all general areas of their role, including, but not limited to: innovation consulting & idea generation, product management and testing, sales, marketing, operations, office management, research, project management

The ideal candidate’s personality and qualifications:

Looking for a self-driven, hard-working and highly flexible person, who can join a fast growing and highly motivated team. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, hardworking and flexible, as well as someone who:

* Is interested in developing a wide variety of skills

* Is commercially minded with a sales driven attitude

* Is organised and can demonstrate a professional approach at all times when representing the company, be that verbally or written.

* Be prepared to go the extra mile for the company and have a proactive approach to succeed in your role.

* Strong writing abilities, and can write creatively

* Computer Literate i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

* Ability to use photoshop or editing tools to a basic degree (extremely useful but not critical)
