What are the key responsibilities of the role?

This role would suit either a graduate. As Associate Business Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering fabulous deals to our large and growing database of consumers through building partnerships with high-end businesses, including both new clients and developing existing relationships. You will develop and grow clients within your own territory/specialism through building rapport, gaining buy-in, pitching and negotiating and delivering excellent customer service - a key part of this role.

Other responsibilities include:

1. Actively calling targeted businesses with the ultimate aim of signing fabulous merchants.

2. Making appointments to attend client meetings and deliver propositions.

3. Creating excellent pitches, presentations and proposals and negotiating to ensure a mutually beneficial deal is created for Wowcher, the merchant and Wowcher’s growing customer base.

4. Providing clients with relevant information; especially in response to enquiries about products and services.

5. Continually establishing client relationships and building a strong rapport to enable you to deliver an excellent customer service and further develop Wowcher’s outstanding reputation.

6. Producing accurate and timely paperwork in line with customer and company requirements.

7. Meeting weekly KPIs and monthly sales targets.

What are your key candidate requirements for the role?

1. You will ideally have sales experience, be this an entrepreneurial project or work whilst studying or similar.

2. An interest in the daily deals sector, and the desire to learn more about our business.

3. Excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels.

4. Time management skills that allow you to manage your own diary effectively.

5. Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations, with the ability to work on own initiative whilst building positive and rewarding working relationships with both colleagues and stakeholders.

6. Flexible and able to quickly adapt to new situations using initiative and exercise sound judgement.
